In 1735, in a beautiful chateau outside Paris, the Compte De Vriac is celebrating the betrothal of his son with a few old friends. Then an unexpected visitor arrives, the Marquise De Kestournel. She's the Compte's former mistress and she announces she is staying for good. Based on a comedy by Noel Coward.
