Below Zalem, a wondrous city in the air, lies a bleak and violent town where almost everyone dreams in vain of "going to Zalem." Two doctors have been exiled from Zalem. While one embarks on dangerous schemes in hope of returning, Ido accepts his fate and tries to balance out his new career as a bounty hunter by using his medical skills to help people. Foraging in a junk pile, he discovers a cyborg head with a still-living human brain inside. And so, he gives new life to the girl he calls Gally. As she learns about her new world and meets the enterprising teenager Yugo, she discovers that despite her petite frame, she has amazing fighting abilities. Beneath the slickly produced, action-packed story there is a cautionary tale about the folly of giving up the happiness at hand for an impossible dream. Features two episodes, "Rusty Angel" and the heartbreaking "Tears Sign." Based on the comic book series by Yukito Kishiro.
