Two more episodes from the television series about the folks of Avonlea. In "Quarantine at Alexander Abraham's," Sara sneaks into the house of the local recluse just as busybody Mrs. Lynde barges in for a visit. But the surprise is on both the women as Abraham is quarantined with smallpox and they can't leave. "The Materializing of Duncan" finds spinster Marilla Cuthbert fibbing about a beau from her youth. Then a stranger appears claiming to be the man Marilla has made up.
