Taken Away Movie Review 1989

Struggling young divorcee Stephanie Monroe waits tables during the day and studies to be a computer tech at night in order to provide her eight-year-old daughter Abby with a better life. Unable to afford child care, Stephanie leaves Abby alone in the afternoon until she can get home from work. But when the welfare system finds out Stephanie is accused of child neglect and must fight a bureaucratic nightmare in order to get her child back.
