Laughing Sinners Movie Review 1931

Society girl Crawford attempts suicide after Hamilton dumps her and is rescued by Gable--a Salvation Army worker! Predictable drama with some unintentionally funny moments. Gable and Crawford were having an off-screen romance at the time which accounts for the sparks generated on-screen. Based on the play "Torch Song" by Kenyon Nicholson.
