Making Waves Movie Review 1993

Each year the Department of Fish & Game issues 2850 permits to gill net and set net fishermen for salmon fishing in Bristol Bay, Alaska. The lucrative trade takes in some 200 million dollars annually and is slowly accepting women into its ranks, some of whom are shown in this documentary.
