The Ghosts of Versailles Movie Review 1992

James Levine conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Chorus in this opera by John Corigliano. The ghosts which inhabit the palace at Versailles include the playwright Beaumarchais, whose love for Marie Antionette is still so strong that he attempts to alter the course of history and save her from death in the French Revolution.
