Holiday Facts & Fun: Earth Day Movie Review 1993

Earth Day was first celebrated on April 22, 1970, to raise environmental awareness, however, its effect was short lived. Recognizing the same problems 20 years later, the original promoter organized the second Earth Day which was celebrated globally, and made a case to the U.N. to make Earth Day an annual event.
