Bill Moyers: Healing and the Mind Movie Review 1993

A five-part series has Bill Moyers probing alternative medicine and the therapeutic connection between body and mind. The series includes a trip to China to explore accupuncture, massage, Tai Chi, and other therapies. Other episodes cover psychological research and psychoneuroimmunology (PNI), meditation, patient/doctor sensitivity, and psychological healing. Moyers is joined by Dr. David Eisenberg of Harvard Medical School who is also a student of Chinese medicine and acts as a guide. Originally broadcast on PBS.
