The Black Tulip Movie Review 1988

A moving look at the personal costs of the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan. Through interviews with soldiers, the viewer relives many of the same painful memories that confronted American veterans of the Vietnam War. The film concludes with an interview with a mother whose son was killed during the war.
