The Selkie Girl Movie Review 1991

Susan Cooper's adaptation of the Scottish folktale about a selkie maid (a seal) who weds a farmer and is then trapped on land. Beautiful watercolors are from the book's illustrations and done by the same artist. Some may be troubled by the restrained nudity depicted.
