Macross 2, Vol. 2 Movie Review 1992

Japanese animated sci-fi follows the exploits of Ishtar as she seeks to discover the truth about the Super Dimensional Fortress, Macross, 80 years after the inhabitants of Earth formed a new society with the Zentrandi. In episode four, Ishtar is captured and forced to undergo "purification," as the Marduk Lord Emperor, Ingues, threatens to destroy her ship. Profanity and slight nudity make it unsuitable for very young children.
