East of the Sun, West of the Moon Movie Review 1991

An adaptation of the traditional Norwegian folktale. A young girl leaves her family to go and live with a polar bear in his castle. It turns out the bear is really a bewitched handsome prince under the spell of a troll queen. The brave girl then seeks to break the evil queen's spell. Beautifully illustrated.
