The Spirit of the Forest: Columbia Movie Review 1991

When a tree bleeds and groans after being cut by a young boy, his grandfather is prompted to tell him the story of the forest queen who will groan to scare lumbermen away. The grandfather then gives the boy a pod of seeds to plant, which ultimately serve to save his coworkers' lives.
