The exciting story of the search for one of the most famous warships in U.S. history-the USS Monitor. It was sunk during the Civil War off the coast of Cape Hatteras. Later, the site of the wreck became the first national marine sanctuary. However, it wasn't until 1990 that Rod Farb and his crew braved savage diving conditions to locate the wreck.
