Lucy and Desi: Before the Laughter Movie Review 1991

The meeting and early married life of actress/comedian Lucille Ball and Cuban bandleader Desi Arnaz is depicted in this routine biopic. Film depicts Desi's womanizing, their struggles with fame, and their efforts to get their show on the air. Fisher does well as TV's favorite redhead but this effort is melodramatic. Daughter Lucy Arnaz vehemently opposed this depiction of her parents life.
