An imaginary concert performance and portrayal of the country and western legend. On the night of December 31, 1952, the last night of Hank Williams life, the singer is expected at a concert in Ohio. Traveling in his pale blue Cadillac he decides to stop at a roadside bar and winds up giving an intimate concert for the bar patrons, as he recounts the triumphs and sorrows of his life and career.
