Voices from Sepharad Movie Review 1990

A seven-part series examining the roots of Sephardic Jewry from its beginnings in Spain, through the expulsion of the Jews in 1492, to its modern-day branches. Filmed on location at historic sites in Eastern and Western Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas. Artists perform secular and sacred music, folklore, and poetry relating to the Sephardim. Available as a boxed set of three videotapes with a companion book.
