Escape to the Rising Sun Movie Review 1990

Twenty thousand Jews fled Nazi persecution in Europe and took refuge in Shanghai, China throughout WWII. Shanghai was occupied by the Japanese during the war and the film includes archival footage of living conditions during the occupation, as well as accounts from Jewish survivors.
