Daniel and the Towers Movie Review 1987

Daniel and his friends enjoy making fun of Sam, the man who is building glass towers in Watts, California. But when Daniel must pay for the repairs of a shopkeeper's window, he turns to Sam for help. Sam agrees to fix the windows if Daniel helps him collect glass for the towers. In the process, Sam and Daniel become friends and Sam teaches Daniel valuable lessons about beauty and determination. Although this story is fictional, the glass towers, built by Sam Rodia, really stand in Watts. A viewers' guide is included. Part of the "Wonderworks" series.
