Growing Up in the Age of AIDS Movie Review 1992

AIDS, the HIV virus and what children, teenagers and parents should know about this devastating disease is the focus of this ABC News special hosted by Jennings. AIDS experts, including U.S. Surgeon General Antonia Novella, answer questions from a live studio audience and call-ins from viewers that range from prevention and protection to the latest research findings. Other subjects covered include an outreach program to teens living on the streets, facts and fallacies about how people get infected with HIV or AIDS and the effect of AIDS-HIV testing on insurance coverage. A manual with information about the disease is included.
