Mademoiselle Fifi Movie Review 1944

Simon stars as a French laundress in 1870 France who refuses to give in to her small town's Prussian oppressors. The film title is the nickname of the most brutal of the Prussian officers, played by Kreuger. An unsucessful attempt at political allegory for the devastation of WWII.
