Frida Kahlo Movie Review 1988

Profiles the life and work of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. A politically active artist, Kahlo was also married to legendary Mexican muralist, Diego Rivera. The strength of her work came in part from the emotions surrounding the loss of her leg in a childhood accident and her infertility.
