The Wildman of China Movie Review 1991

Professor Gene Poirier embarks on a mission to uncover a missing link--the Yeren. This huge ape-like creature has been a legend in China for over 2,000 years, and a major scientific question as well. Their journey takes them through rainforests, primeval mountains, ancient villages, Three Gorges, the Yangtze River and the floating islands of Guilin, ending with their arrival at the famous cave gigantopithecus, never before seen by western civilization.
