Return to the Jade Sea Movie Review 1991

Archaeologist Andrew Hartley retraces the routes of famed Austro-Hungarian explorer Count Samuel Teleki, spanning Kenya's Rift Valley through some of the most treacherous terrain in Africa. Hartley points out the environmental differences between the present and 100 years ago, as he and his crew struggle to complete their journey (the cameramen, Tom Long and Mohamed Amin, nearly died while filming).
