Story of Adrien Movie Review 1980

Chronicle of the life of a boy born out of wedlock to a peasant girl. The lad lives with his grandparents, but leaves when he is abused. He finds romance in the arms of a young girl, only to have the affair shattered by her father's bigotry. Stirring portrait of a doomed life set against WWI.
