Union Pacific Memories Movie Review 1950

Includes "Last of the Giants" a nostalgic look at the era of the steam locomotive which ended in 1960 when the last one was retired. Footage of all sizes of locomotives, including the giant "Big Boy" which was the workhorse, with shots in the railyards, roundhouse, and on the road. Also included is an interesting customer service film from 1950, "Poor Joe," with ticket salesmen, porters, conductors, station agents, passenger trains and yards of the time.
