Ode to Joy and Freedom: The Fall of the Berlin Wall Movie Review 1990

Modern news footage and archival footage combine to present the history of the Berlin Wall from its construction in August 1961 to its fall in November 1989. Also covered are the mass demonstrations in Leipzig, as well as other events leading up to the collapse of the communist government. Includes footage of the opening of the Wall, its dismantling, and the New Year's celebration at the Brandenburg Gate.
