Theatre of Tadeusz Kantor Movie Review 1991

The first video of the "International Performance Video" series that presents experimental international theatre and performance art, focused here on the incredible work of Tadeusz Kantor and directed by Denis Bablet. Bablet traces Kantor's work back to Poland and shows how certain elements of Kantor's style were developed, such as his "living sculptures." Precious scenes of Kantor at work with his actors. Includes long cuts from his noted works "Wielopole," and "Wielopole and the Dead."
