So does the film. A grasping tycoon bets he can spend a month living on the street without money, resulting in cheap laughs, heavy-handed sentiment and one musical number. Those expecting the innovative, hilarious Brooks of "Young Frankenstein" or "Blazing Saddles" will be very disappointed--these jokes are stale and the timing is tedious. Those looking for a Chaplinesque tale for modern times should stick with Chaplin.
