Crazy from the Heart Movie Review 1991

Sweet cable romance finds Charlotte Bain (Lahti), the straitlaced high school principal in a small south Texas town, changing her ways. Charlotte surprises herself by agreeing to a date with the school's new janitor, Ernesto (Blades), and what's even more shocking to them both is how much they enjoy each other's company over one wild weekend. Strong, nuanced performances from Lahti and Blades make this chestnut of a story work beautifully, with able help from supporting actors.
