Around the World in 80 Days Movie Review 1990

Monty Python alumnus Palin recreates the globe-trotting journey of Jules Verne's character Phineas Fogg, using the same route and modes of travel from the 1872 novel and accompanied by a four-member film crew. An visual feast for armchair travelers and accidental tourists, laced with Palin's wit. The set of four cassettes runs nearly six hours, but never becomes boring.
