During a cultural exchange, British actress Coral Browne (playing herself in a pointed recreation) visits Moscow in 1961 and chances to meet notorious English spy/defector Guy Burgess (Bates). Behind their gossip and small talk is a tragicomic portrait of the exiled traitor/spy. Made for British TV; nuances may be lost on yank viewers. Winner of several British awards.
