Truth or Dare Movie Review 1991

A quasi-concert-documentary--here is music superstar Madonna tarted up in fact, fiction, and fantasy--exhibitionism to the nth power. Tacky, self-conscious,and ultimately, if you are a Madonna fan, moving. On camera Madonna stings ex-boyfriend Warren Beatty, disses admirer Kevin Costner, quarrels with her father, reminisces, and does sexy things with a bottle. Oh yes, she occasionally sings and dances. Both those who worship and dislike the Material Girl will find much to pick apart here.
