This documentary chronicles the twilight of the life and career of a gifted creator of classical music. Banished from his native Hungary to the U.S. during WWII, Bartok died a broken and destitute man in 1945. This presentation combines footage from interviews with Bartok, his family and friends with performances of the beautiful music he created while eking out his final days in America.
