On Borrowed Land Movie Review 1990

A look at the community of Reclamation, a Filipino shanty town on the outskirts of Manila. It symbolizes both the hope the 1986 revolution provided and the incredible obstacles that everyday citizens face. Interviews are conducted with community leaders who must contend with the goon squads of wealthy landowners and the bureaucrats of the Aquino government.
