Four Adventures of Reinette and Mirabelle Movie Review 1989

Small but touching Rohmer tale of the friendship between two women--one a naive country girl (Miquel, as Reinette), the other a sophisticated Parisian (Forde, as Mirabelle)--who share an apartment and a number of experiences, but who have a very different manner of inhabiting those experiences. A thoroughly French human comedy, one of Rohmer's better studies. In French with English subtitles.
