Career of Nikodem Dyzma Movie Review 1980

An adaptation of Polish novelist Tadeusz Dolega-Mostowicz' tale of a grifter who ascends to an important bureaucratic position through sheer luck. The embezzler projects an air of control and power which makes him popular with the rich and with other bureaucrats. A seven-episode series presented on three video tapes.
