Two vintage Gene Autry westerns featured here. "Prairie Moon" (1938) finds the singing cowboy promising a dying gangster to care for his three street-tough kids. In "On Top of Old Smokey" (1953) Autry aids a young woman whose toll road has upset the local townspeople, and finds himself mistaken for a man with a bounty on his head.
