Star Trek #28: The City on the Edge of Forever Movie Review 1967

Perhaps the most dramatic "Star Trek" episode finds the crew of the Enterprise flung back in time to 1930s Earth. Kirk subsequently falls in love with a woman who must die in order to ensure that events in history remain unchanged. Screenwriter Ellison won a Hugo award for his efforts.
