"The Trial II" (1988; 55 min.) is a brutal, uncompromising examination of the Stalin personality cult and includes Nikolai Bukharin's "Testament," a work for which the Bolshevik theoretician was executed. "Adonis XIV" (1988; 9 min.) was banned for over nine years due to its overt symbolism. An ornamented goat leads herds of sheep, cows and horses to a slaughterhouse.
