"The Tailor" (1988; 50 min.) looks at the hyper-entropic effect of the Brezhnev era on young Russian citizens. In "Early on Sunday" (1987; 18 min.), a group of elderly country women set out to chop down some trees, and in the process reveal their simple, unpretentious outlook on life.
