Chen and China's Symphony Movie Review 1988

A discussion with Zuohuang Chen, conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of the People's Republic of China. Chen was imprisoned during Mao's Cultural Revolution and gives his views on the struggles of Chinese musicians. Inlcuded are scenes of the symphony's performances during its 1987 U.S. tour.
