Documents African safaris by President Teddy Roosevelt and his great grandson. Teddy's 1909 safari is represented by rare historical footage from the Smithsonian Institute. The younger Roosevelt then retraces his grandfather's trail in 1986, and examines the role of the big game hunter today. Though the safari's are separated by 80 years, they are physically linked by one of the most valuable rifles in the world. First carried by President Roosevelt, the Holland & Holland rifle is a star in its own right on the later safari.
