Funny and informative, this film focuses on a South Carolina hairdresser who organized a community AIDS education project based in her beauty salon. Working against the "sex is dirty" and "we don't talk about those kinds of things" southern mentality, this courageous hairdresser DiAna Diana is fighting against the immorality of doing and talking about sex for the morality of saving lives. She is struggling to succeed in providing adequate and accurate information to the black community, those hardest hit with AIDS cases, where the state facilities have failed. Truly hilarious and yet vitally important.
