The Fabulous Baker Boys Movie Review 1989

Two brothers have been performing a tired act as nightclub pianists for 15 years. When they hire a sultry vocalist to revitalize the routine, she inadvertently triggers long-suppressed hostility between the "boys." The story may be a bit uneven, but fine performances by the three leading actors, the steamy atmosphere, and Pfeiffer's classic rendition of "Makin' Whoopee," are worth the price of the rental.
