Romantic comedy follows the long relationship between two adults who try throughout the changes in their lives (and their mates) to remain platonic friends--and what happens when they don't. Wry and enjoyable script is enhanced by wonderful performances. Another directorial direct hit for "Meathead" Reiner, and a tour de force of comic screenwriting for Ephron, with improvisational help from Crystal. Great songs by Sinatra sound-alike Connick.
