Hunter Allan Quartermain (Granger) is hired by Elizabeth Curtis (Kerr) and her brother John (Carlson) to find Elizabeth's missing husband who was searching for the legendary diamond mines of King Solomon. Naturally, there are numerous adventures during their expedition. Filmed on location in Nairobi, Tanganyika and the Belgian Congo. A lavish version of the classic H. Rider Haggard novel; remake of the 1937 classic and remade again in 1985.
