The Ribbon Movie Review 1987

A documentary about the "Peace Ribbon" which was made to protest the South African army's occupation of black townships. While the documentary was being made, a general state of emergency was declared, and the film follows the women who helped make the ribbon through this frightening and spiritually challenging time.
