The Audience for Theatre Movie Review 1989

Examines the beginnings of theatre where the text set the stage and described the scenes; sets came into use at first to stimulate imagination, by A.D. 100, the theatre had acquired a permanent stage. The program starts with the Days of Aeschylus when plays were performed in the honor of Dionysuys; late in Euripides's career, the presentation was the main focus.
